With potential voter registration goals of 1,724,979, the partners have focused their efforts in 13 of the most populous areas.  California has a large WAAA Presence with 8 Alliance partners including ACORN, Gamaliel, MIV, NAKASEC, CCC, CHIRLA, NALEO, and NCLR.   California represents the partners' best opportunity to showcase their breadth of work.  It's the largest media market for the Latino community and has one of the nation's highest ratios of voter registration disparity.   With potential voter registration goals of 1,724,979, the partners have focused their efforts in 13 of the most populous areas.   This allows the partners to strategically target areas where the immigrants could have a swing effect or where there are heavy pockets of viability for the immigrant vote.
